Smoothing wrinkles

We use botulotoxin injections primarily for the removal of mimic wrinkles around the eyelids and on the forehead. The effect of botulotoxin consist in temporary interruption of the neuromuscular connections. The facial muscles which are unable to move gradually begin to sag and with the injections, the wrinkles which their contractions formed become smaller.
With the repeated application of this substance, its effects intensify and the intervals of treatment are extended and continued until the wrinkles are adequately removed.
